Felt Reps is a poker trainer for live $1/$3 and $1/$2 no-limit hold'em cash games. It deals you a spot from the game you actually sit in, you pick your play, and it shows you the right answer.
What Felt Reps is
Six drills over the spots of the game you play, before the flop and after it, on a table of five to nine seats, with the straddle off, on every hand, or mixed. The answers come from solvers we wrote from scratch and run ourselves, on the live game itself: $15 opens at $1/$3 and $10 at $1/$2, limpers, a $6 or $4 straddle, and 10% rake up to $15 that only comes out when there is a flop. Before the flop, each combination of stakes, buy-in, table size and straddle is solved on its own.
Every flop we solve is checked: a player who knew our exact strategy couldn't win more than 0.3% of the pot against it, which is 30 cents in a $100 pot. Pots with three or more players after the flop aren't solved yet, so the drill doesn't deal them. How we solved your game has the inputs, the numbers and the check in full.
It runs in your browser, on a phone or a computer. The first 10 spots are free with no account, a free account gets 3 a day after that, and a subscription unlocks the rest.
Who makes it
I'm Behroz Saadat. I'm a software engineer, and I play live $1/$3 in Ontario, usually with a $300 buy-in and a $6 straddle on almost every hand. I've won more than C$50,000 in that game over the past decade.
I built Felt Reps for myself. Almost every chart I found was made for six-max online poker. None of them told me what to do under the gun at a full table, with the straddle already in and $15 opens. So I wrote a solver for my own game and turned what it found into drills I could run between sessions.
Those drills are most of the reason I win, and now I'm opening them up to everyone. I can't promise you'll do as well as I have, but this is how I became a consistently winning player over the past 10 years.
Why it works this way
Most of what costs money at a live table is the same few spots, over and over: a raise in front of you with two limpers behind, the straddle on and the button opening wide, a squeeze from the blinds. Reading about them doesn't stick. Being dealt them, choosing, and being told straight away whether you were right does.
So Felt Reps deals one spot at a time, grades it at once, and keeps track of the ones you miss so it can deal them again. Every grade shows the solver's numbers behind it, so you can check the answer yourself.
